Cinematic Rooms Pro took me a while to figure out how to get the sound out of it that I want, same with Stratus 3D, Indoor and Altiverb. None are more or less difficult to 'learn'. It's still excellent for many things and I would not want to be without it. Altiverb is good, but I'm really used to it so there is some tonality in the mid high and low end that seems to be common across all settings and it makes me think that I 'hear' Altiverb more than hearing the reverberance. I basically find Indoor is best if I want a reverb to hold tight to the dry signal and not break focus, but if I want the reverb to add expansiveness without regard to it's anchor then Indoor is hard to get to work.
